All devices are password protected and personal data is stored in secure GDPR compliant software requiring double authentication login.

We use GDPR compliant service providers to store information related to carrying out nutrition consultations and advice for clients. This includes:

·         Nutrium software for managing consultations, client and clinical notes

·         Zoom video conferencing software for online consultations

If data is lost or it is suspected that there has been access to the data without permission, the Data Controller will inform the Information Commissioner and affected individuals in line with GDPR.

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We will not keep your data longer than necessary. Whilst you continue to engage in our services, we will continue to retain the appropriate data to provide you with the best service. We will review on an annual basis and comply with current legislation pertaining to record keeping.

You have a right to obtain a copy of your personal data. This is commonly referred to as a ‘subject access’. You may request to have your information updated which we will do. You may request to withdraw consent and have your information deleted if you feel we should no longer be using your data. We will contact you and let you know if we have complied with your request or if we have legitimate grounds to continue to process your data.
